Community & Support

GitHub Discussions, bug reports, the WeCom group and contribution channels

DeepSeek Harness is at an early stage and the team is small. Use these channels to report problems, seek help or contribute to the ecosystem.

GitHub Discussions

GitHub Discussions is the primary channel for feedback and discussion. Upvote posts you want the team to see; the team monitors them and considers them when allocating resources.

Reporting bugs

When describing a problem in GitHub Discussions, include reproduction steps, your Node version, the dsh version and any relevant error messages. Search existing discussions first to avoid duplicates. The team may not be able to reply to every post, but they do monitor them.

Discovering plugins

Add the dsh-plugin topic to your plugin repository, or browse community plugins on the topic page. See ecosystem.

Verify plugin origins

When browsing and installing community plugins, verify the publisher's organization and the @deepseek-ai npm scope, and prefer repositories with traceable origins; the name "deepseek-harness" was previously used by third-party projects, so same-name confusion is a real risk. For supply-chain boundaries, see security & compliance.

WeCom group and official account

You're welcome to join the DeepSeek Harness WeCom group: scan the assistant's QR code and fill in the join survey, after which the assistant invites you in. The assistant, survey and official WeChat account QR codes are in the community section of README.zh.md.

Discord

You can also join the DeepSeek Harness Discord community.

Stay up to date

  • Watch or star the upstream repository on GitHub to follow releases and updates.
  • Follow the team's official WeChat account for the latest news (QR code in the upstream README.zh.md).

Contributing

The project cannot accept external pull requests at the moment, but contributing code is far from the only way to help. See upstream CONTRIBUTING.md:

  • Report issues and upvote discussions in GitHub Discussions;
  • Create and share plugins, adding the dsh-plugin topic;
  • Write blog posts and how-to guides;
  • Answer questions and help other community members.
